The GenWell Project was proud to present the first annual Canadian Human Connection Conference in October of 2022, in partnership with the Institute For Social Connection.
The conference was an interdisciplinary conference, welcoming researchers, policy makers, healthcare providers, and business and community members to join and share the latest evidence and experiences about how we can work together to rebuild a connected Canada. Presenters with expertise in any field relevant to social connection were encouraged to submit topics and abstracts to for presentation, resulting in over 30 speakers, 5 abstract panels, 4 keynotes, the showing of The Great Disconnect documentary and an in person bocce event for those who were able to join us in Toronto for a face-to-face event.
We are very much looking forward to hosting the second annual Canadian Human Connection Confernece in 2023. This conference will be held in person and we are looking forward to rolling out details of the event early in the year so people from all parts of Canada, and from all populations and perspectives from around the world, can have the opportunity to submit an abstract, and make plans to join us in person and build connections to others who are working to build a more connected Canada and world.
Thank you once again to our partners who helped support the first annual Canadian Human Connection Conference. We look forward to working with you again and to finding new partners who want to be part of the conversation and solution to the disconnected world in which we find ourselves in as we work to exit a global pandemic.
