We exist to address the issues of social isolation, disconnection and loneliness through the power of human connection

Social Isolation

To help Canadians better understand the impact of social isolation, the objective state of being disconnected from or having few ties with other people, and it’s impact on our health and wellbeing. Greater understanding is the first step to building healthier connection habits moving forward.

To help close the growing sense of disconnection and lack of belonging that permeates our society, by catalyzing  individuals, families, schools, businesses and communities to build healthier connection habits and creating opportunities for people to connect, to understand, to build empathy and compassion, and to make the world a happier and healthier place.

To educate Canadians to recognize the issue of loneliness, the subjective distressing feeling associated with a deficiency in the quantity or quality of social and emotional relationships, in their lives and in the lives of others, and to act as a catalyst that inspires us all to take action to address our social health needs.
