Global Partners

The GILC is comprised of representatives of national organizations committed to addressing the pressing global issues of loneliness and social isolation and to support the dissemination of system-wide, national approaches to building social connection.

The United Nations Decade of Healthy Ageing (2021-2030) is a global collaboration, aligned with the last ten years of the Sustainable Development Goals, that brings together governments, civil society, international agencies, professionals, academia, the media, and the private sector to improve the lives of older people, their families, and the communities in which they live.

Loneliness Awareness Week is a global campaign led by the Marmalade Trust in the United Kingdom. The GenWell Project, as part of the Global Initiative on Loneliness and Connection, is proud to be a global partner and raise awareness about the growing issue of loneliness in Canada and around the globe.
