I am Samira Garrido, an international student from Guatemala. Currently, I am finishing my undergrad in Community Development at Acadia University. After moving to Canada, to a place where I did not know anyone, I realized how much we, as humans, need connection and community to feel like you belong. Therefore, learning about the GenWell project, I just wanted to work with them and learn more ways to connect with people.
